About the Unit
In this unit, you will be focusing on writing about their opinions. First, you will learn about what opinion writing is. Then, you will learn how to support their opinion with reasonings and the structure of opinion writing. After sharing each others' opinions and assessing their writing, we will conclude this unit with a review. Reason: The main idea that supports your opinion
A fact is a piece of information that is proven to be true or false. For example, "Slugs have four noses."
An opinion is based on what you think and feel about something. For example, "Slugs are gross."
What is the purpose of writing an opinion?
The purpose of writing an opinion is to share your point of view on different topics. It is also used for you to share what you think, feel, and believe in.
