A good society is a community that respects each others' ways of thinking and doing without judgment and criticism. It consists of individuals learning from one another while being respectful, which results in a good education. The purpose of education is to be and stay connected with our community. Individuals learn to observe, analyze, and research topics that may relate to their personal experiences or events within our community. I believe that everyone should learn basic skills such as communication, empathy, teamwork, and creating goals for oneself. The nature of learning is not just one idea, but multiple. It includes observation, modeling, repetition, connection, and collaboration. In order for this learning to be done, the excellence of effective teaching must take place in the classroom environment.

 

Excellent teaching is when one is able to see and understand different points of view, provide effective feedback, and share personal experiences that relate to the content being taught or relate to students. Additionally, effective teaching consists of using alternative methods to teach a subject, providing examples, and considering every students' learning needs. As a future teacher, I believe in equity and inclusivity and in creating a safe learning environment for students to be successful.
